Dharamsala is a city in Himachal Pradesh, north east of India. Located in the mountains, 1450m high. It's called "The little Lhasa" after the several thousand Tibetans exiled in Dharamsala. It's also the residence of the Dalai Lama since 1959.
We only planned to stay 1 day and ended up staying 8 nights. We absolutely loved this town, everything there was nice. We also took up a few Yoga classes.
