30th June 2011:
Called the "Golden City", Jaisalmer is situated in the heart of the Thar desert and 575km from Jaipur. The old city is situated inside the medieval fortress. We arrived there on the 30th of June and found a really charming and traditional guesthouse inside the fort. This town was completely empty, due to the strong heat there was no tourists. We did a 2 days camel safari and celebrated Mourad's birthday in the middle of the desert.
