Luang Prabang is a city located in north central Laos where the Rivers Nam Khan & the Mekong meet. The name means "Royal Buddha Image", the city is now UNESCO world heritage.

Every morning at sunrise, young Monks walk around the streets of Luang Prabang collecting alms from the local people. This is a Buddhist ritual that has been going on for centuries.
