Hoi An (Vietnam)

27th April 2011:
The whole town is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1999. It was one of the largest and most important harbours in Asia, it's now mostly known for its tailor shops. Thanks to UNESCO the old city has kept its heritage and tradition; the streets and the houses haven't changed.

All the walls of the city are yellow.

Woman selling food with the typical cone hat.

Tuk tuk.

Hoi An river.

The old city from the over bank.

My favorite picture :-)

 An artist in his workshop.

Waiting for Mourad...

Old boat on the river.

Old people selling fruit.

Mostly women offer boat trip along the river.

Getting lost in the streets in Hoi An was amazing, the city is like a labyrinth.

Afternoon tea.

:-)

Asian people, especially Vietnamese are very small.

The famous Japanese bridge.

Last day in Hoi An... we stayed 4 days but we could have stayed much longer.
