We left Ninh Binh at 5.00am and took the bus to Halong Bay. Arriving there we went straight to the harbour and managed to book a ticket half price for 2 days cruise around the islands. We've been lucky that the boat was just about to leave and they still have 1 free cabin.

There were 7 cabins, this is the dining room. The food was really good.
