Phang Nga (Thailand)

25th Feb 2011:
North West of Krabi, Phang Nga Bay includes many islands, one of the most famous one is Koh Tapu now called "James Bond island" after the movie: The man with the golden gun. We spent 2 days in this area and we took a long tail boat to do a tour of the surrounding islands.

 Early start through the mangroves.

The mangroves were like a maze. Crocodiles are still living there but we haven't seen any.. too early for them :-)

 The "Thai Sphynx".

The area is full of caverns and huge limestone rocks.

Arriving at James Bond island.

 The famous limestone rock.

In one of the caves in the island.

A lagoon in the centre of the cave.

Lunch time in one of the island.

Ko Panyi, a floating fishing village built by Indonesian families.

A closer look at the village.

At the market inside the fisherman village.

 The monkey was incredibly soft.

Kids playing and jumping in the water.

Kids having a shower :-)
